Danforth C373 Steelboat Corsair Ii Compass on 2040-parts.com
Metairie, Louisiana, United States
The Steelboat Corsair II is a 3 1/2 " spherical compass specially designed for steel hulled boats. With double internal gimballing, the Steelboat has complete freedom inn the fore an daft and thwartship directions. This permits high angles of pitch and roll, helping to stabilize the card on an active boat. Hi-speed compass fluid provides additional dampening of the card making the compass able to operate in conditions of higher vibration caused by engines or pounding in sea.
The Steelboat compass card has large white numerals and letters making the compass easy to read at a distance. The contrasting yellow lubber line also aids the excellent readability of he card. Navy red lighting (12 volt DC), full corrector system, and bracket with soft iron globes are included with compass. Installation of the Steelboat Corsair II is simple, but should always be done carefully in order not to "build in" a error into the compass installation. |

Jaguar Land Rover strong September sales thanks to Evoque & XF 2.2
Sat, 08 Oct 2011JLR Sales up in September thanks to XF 2.2 & Evoque We’ve had cause to take Jaguar Land Rover (well, Jaguar) to task lately for disappointing sales, particularly in the US and the UK. So it seems only fair, after dishing out disapprobation, that we should balance that with a story about a decent set of sales figures for JLR in September, especially in the face of weakening sales from other manufacturers in the UK. Unsurprisingly – although how long it will last is debatable – China was the strongest performer for Jaguar, certainly in percentage terms, with a rise of 156 per cent for Jaguar and 85 per cent for Land Rover and year on year figures up 60 per cent.

Didn’t they just get a pile of Euros in from Panga Da for a boat full of Saabs? According to two previous statements from Saab they received €30 million Euros at the end of May for 1,300 Saabs ordered by Pang Da, and another €15 million for a further 650 cars a week later.
