Study finds teen drivers need more time in adverse conditions
Tue, 12 Oct 2010Practice might make perfect, but not if the drills never change. In a study organized by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Study and the University of North Carolina Highway Safety Research Center, participating teen drivers averaged about an hour and a half of supervised driving each week--mostly on routine trips along the same roads. At the end of the year-long study, 47 percent of parents said there was at least one driving condition they felt their student wasn't prepared to handle.

Apparently John was driving the WRC Subaru when he lost control, slid down a verge and flipped the car four times. Not a small accident and, unlike Captain Jack Harkness, we’re pretty sure John’s not immortal!
MG6 BTCC Edition celebrates MG going racing
Wed, 12 Dec 2012MG has revealed a special edition of the MG6 – the MG6 BTCC Edition – to celebrate a return to BTCC racing. MG doesn’t exactly have a plethora of models to offer car buyers, but its’ making the most of its inherited heritage by taking the MG6 in to the British Touring Car Championship, and to celebrate it’s launched a new model to cast a sporty glow back on the marque. The MG6 BTCc Edition gets a 1.8 litre turbo petrol offering 158bhp, not enough to win a BTCC race but enough to get the road car to 62mph in 8.4 seconds and on to a slightly asthmatic 120mph.
