Dart Pro1 250 LS1 CNC Assembled Aluminum Cylinder Head

Dart CNC Ported aluminum cylinder heads for GM LS series small block V8 engines take performance to the next level.

Dart's LS1 CNC head is machined on a dedicated casting with extra thick sections to maintain the proper wall thickness after porting. Due to the large diameter intake valves, the dart LS1 CNC head is recommended for use on engines with 4.00 inch and larger cylinder bores. Precise computer controlled CNC machining, multi angle intake seats, and radiused exhaust seats enhance airflow. Extra material above the ports accommodates valve train upgrades.

The consistencey and accuracy of CNC machining makes every CNC ported Dart head virtually identical. Our automated five axis machining centers port heads with incredible accuracy, and you get the perfomance benefits at a very affordable price!

Car Insurance ‘Black Box’ a good idea? We find out.

Sun, 30 Dec 2012

We’ve been testing a new ‘Telematics’ App from Confused.com which mimics the ‘Black Box’ technology insurers are offering in an attempt to make car insurance cheaper. The inexorable rise and rise of car insurance premiums is a fact of life, and will continue until government gets a handle on ambulance-chasing lawyers and the UK’s idiotic whiplash claims industry. But if you’re looking to find a way to cut your insurance premiums, then having a ‘Black ‘Box’ fitted to your car to monitor your driving so you get charged for how much – and how well – you drive looks a promising idea.

Skoda Yeti rolls out

Thu, 14 May 2009

The first Skoda Yeti has rolled of the production line in the Czech Republic - Delivery in the UK starts in September The Skoda Yeti is a promising, rufty-tufty ‘SmallRoader’, based on parent company VW’s Tiguan. But the Skoda holds the promise of more for less, a trick Skoda has managed to pull off with a number of VW products. Skoda has also been out playing with the Yeti in Norway, exposing it to a wide variety of off and on-road surfaces to shake it down properly before the first customer cars are ready for delivery.

Hyundai i40 – more detail +photos

Tue, 01 Sep 2009

A leaked picture of the new Hyundai i40 / Sonata Hyundai has released sketches of the i40 as a tease ahead of the launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this month, but unfortunately for them we’ve received the picture you see at the top – and those in the photo gallery at the bottom – that show the real deal. Which sort of takes the edge off the ‘Stylised’ sketches Hyundai has released. Sketch of Hyundai i40 / Sonata The real deal is not quite as swoopy/futuristic as the real deal, but actually the real car is pretty impressive looking.
