From the start of the 2008/09 season all A1GP cars will be Ferrari powered, thus guaranteeing the Prancing Horse victory. With a driver, but without fuel, the new A1GP car weighs 695kg, while the 4.5-litre V8 engine kicks out 600bhp and 406lb ft.

Drivers are usually encouraged to keep their cars off the grass but as this video shows, the 2007 F1 champ is clearly able to transfer his skill from the tarmac track to the lawn. Kimi raced against former F1 drivers Martin Brundle, Johnny Herbert and also Anthony Davidson around the grass track in a publicity stunt.
Ford reaches agreement to sell Volvo to Geely for $1.8 billion
Mon, 29 Mar 2010Ford has reached an agreement to sell its Swedish brand Volvo to Chinese carmaker Geely for about $1.8 billion in a multinational sale expected to close in the third quarter of this year. The pending agreement was announced on Sunday morning, and Ford will continue to supply powertrains, stamping and other parts to Volvo after the sale. If it closes, the landmark deal delivers the premium Volvo brand--long a benchmark for automotive safety--to a Chinese firm that has ambitious plans for growth.
