This is a brand new, factory Nissan gear shift lever rubber boot. This boot is located at the very bottom of the shift lever where it meets the transmission; it seals the lever to the top of the transmission (selector housing), preventing water and dirt from getting inside the shifting mechanism. The bottom hole is about 1 3/4 inches wide and the top hole is about 1/2 inch wide.
It fits manual transmission Z's starting with a production date of 09/71 to 1983 280zx's.

Datsun 240z, 260z, 280z, 280zx (1972-1983) (excludes 280zx turbos).
