Jacksonville, Florida, United States
Condition:Remanufactured

For  sale is this beautifully restored Series 1 240z Hatch.
It was stripped, rust areas treated with Por-15.
It was then faired and primed with flat black.
Then it was coated with undercoating on the inside, where the hatch vent ducting was located.
Then it was painted with a High Performance Enamel semi gloss black.
I painted the vents with gloss black plastic paint and soaked the hatch vent boots in silicone for about 2 weeks.
I fabed fasteners for the hatch vents and ducting.
Minimal finish work will be required, there are scratches where I fitted the fasteners.

I installed an aftermarket weather strip with the glass for shipping purposes.
The rear hatch glass is almost perfect, the defroster connectors are in great shape and have been cleaned.
The defroster lines are in good condition,
there are several imperfections in the lines, the worst is about 2 inches
at the bottom center.
The trim is in very good condition, it was polished with Autosol before installation.
Hatch vents and ducting are included!!!

One Lap of the Web: Wax that woody; Bentley gets high-tech

Thu, 22 May 2014

-- Bentley comes striding into the 21st century with a Mulsanne souped up with no fewer than two keyboard-equipped iPads in the backseat, hidden behind veneered wood inlays. In a short film titled "Intelligent Details" -- one must assume Bentley marketers had to resist the urge to call it "Intelligent Design" -- Luc Donckerwolke, director of design, and Sang Yup Lee, head of exterior design, go for a ride in black-and-white Manhattan. Naturally, they are not driving.

Fri, 04 Oct 2013

By Ollie Kew Motor Industry 04 October 2013 11:00 The World Rally Championship has its first new champion in nearly a decade – and wouldn’t you know it, this one’s called Sebastien too. Taking over the mantle from unbeatable Frenchman Sebastien Loeb is his fellow countryman Sebastien Ogier, driving for VW rather than Loeb’s dominating Citroen World Rally Team. Loeb chose to compete in ‘selected events’ in 2013, opting to race in the Monte Carlo, Sweden and Argentina and France events.
