WE are a small independent British Italian and Swedish Car parts company founded in 1980. We had a huge salvage yard and have parted out almost 1,500 cars since 1980. Matthews Foreign Car Parts also has a Giant inventory of NEW, NOS, REBUILT and used parts. We moved are salvage operation to a 40,000 square foot warehouse were everthing is stored. We only keep about 15-25 cars around strip them down and label the parts and store them in giant rooms. The warehouse used to be a MEAT PACKING PLANT. We throw nothing away (which sometimes is the problem) You can try and call us 205-251-5800 with any questions or e-mail us due to the shere volume of questions and projects we have sometimes it is hard to get through. keep trying! We also have a satellite yard in south east Georgia that we can ship from. if you have factory part numbers that is the best. NHTSA safety consultant dies at 64
Tue, 13 Mar 2012Miami trauma surgeon and preeminent car-crash researcher Jeffrey Augenstein would often tell the story of the time he was talking to a crash victim who collapsed and died from hidden injuries in the middle of the conversation. The experience led Augenstein to research and then call attention to the unexpected injuries that could occur when drivers interacted with airbags. It's but one example of the achievements of Augenstein, who died recently at age 64.
2014 EyesOn Design Vehicle Categories Announced

Each of the seventeen categories has been selected to complement the theme of this year's – 'Automotive design's influence on popular culture'. Shelby American considers bringing back rent-a-racer Mustangs
Tue, 28 Jun 2011Shelby American is considering resurrecting its “rent-a-racer” program that offers upgraded Mustang GTs for enthusiast-oriented consumers, AutoWeek has learned. Likely timed to mark the storied company's 50th anniversary, the program could launch as early as next spring. The cars would be offered in two traditional configurations: black and gold and white and gold.
