I am NO Datsun 1600  OHV expert!!   ALL my 5  cars  have  been the u20/2000.   I did buy a  1600 many years ago,,it was  literally a  basket case,,,everything was  in boxes,,he  had  no idea  how  to put  it  back together.  I can spot a Datsun 2000 part  a mile  away,,but  not  the  1600,,so correct me  please,,if  my listings are  wrong.   this  appears to be  the  rocker  assy for  that 1600 roadster,,,its been soaking in  my parts  tub,,,its  all free and  moving,,ive  had  these parts in boxes  for over  35 yrs,,my latest  project is a  sweet 69 AZ car  so im getting rid  of  parts i'll never  use.

Ford reportedly to shut down Mercury

The Mercury brand, rumored to be on the verge of death several times over the past decade, would be shut down under a plan being prepared for Ford Motor Co.'s board of directors, Bloomberg News reported on Thursday. Citing two executives who have knowledge of the plan but asked not to be identified, the news service said the plan would be submitted to Ford's board in July. How quickly Mercury would be shut down depends how quickly the automaker can convince Lincoln Mercury dealers to close or merge with a Ford-brand dealership, the report said.

Ford are intending moving production of the Kuga from Germany to the US. So the reports we’re hearing that Ford are about to up sticks with Kuga production from Saarlouis to Louisville make sense on a number of levels. The Kuga could make a very viable replacement for the Ford Escape (which in its last iteration was sold in Europe as the Maverick).
