College for Creative Studies Student Exhibition 2006

Senior transportation design students at Detroit's College for Creative Studies presented their work to the public and industry representatives during the school's annual Student Exhibition earlier this year. The major project brief revolved around the notion of an 'Exquisite Chrysler.' Students had to identify six vehicles from the past that represented a combination of great beauty and good design, regardless of brand. In addition, six examples of great design outside of the automotive realm were to be chosen as possible influences.

This is the latest one-off Bugatti Veyron supercar: the Bernar Venet editon. Partly inspired by the 1970s BMW art cars of Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein, French artist Bernar Venet's creation pays tribute to the eggheads responsible for the Veyron's conception, by covering the front panels in mathematical equations relating to the output of the car's enormous engine. Volvo V40 R-Design (2012) first offical pictures

Volvo has shown off its V40 family hatch resplendent in R-Design trim for the first time. The pack comprises sporty body addenda and wheels, tweaks to the interior and an optional sports chassis. Similar to the M Sport or S-line packages offered by BMW and Audi, R-Design is expected to be specced on 25% of UK-bought V40s.
