Here is a new Dinghy Sling Davit System which includes a backpack for storage and transportation!

The System includes a 6' wide by 7' long sling with 360 degree floatation, longer straps and stronger design than before. These benefits allow the sling to keep it's shape during deployment, resist floating under your vessel, and able to use on larger vessels where cleats or rails are not close to transom.

Same basic functionality as other design and continues to be an affordable solution for taking your dinghy with you on your cruise. The sling system floats behind your boat ready to accept your dinghy and then is cradled by the sling. The dinghy is then lifted up to desired height on your transom or on the swim platform then pivoted to any angle you choose using the specially made adjustable straps which connect to cleats, railings or stanchions. Once Snug, the Dinghy will not move or bounce around even in rough seas. We have lots of positive feedback and MANY sold WORLDWIDE! See the benefits below:

Strong, Portable, Lightweight, UV resistant with all marine grade materials specifically designed and custom made for our company only!

Easy lifting and lowering with quick deployment for emergency situations.

Can be stored straight up or at any angle you choose so as not to block view from behind.

Can prevent man overboard situations where the dinghy could catch you.

Works on Sailboats / Power boats with or without a swim platform and even sides of docks to keep walkway clear.

Will carry a Kayak, Row boat, SUP, Lightweight RIB and Inflatable boat even with small outboard motors. (2 Cycle 2-8 HP recommended)

No Drilling, Bolting, Gluing or modifications to your Boat or Dinghy. No more cracks in fiberglass!

Keeps your tender out of water to prevent algae growth and drag on vessel.

Helps in maneuvering in tight harbors where towing would not be possible.

Helps reduce chance of theft of dinghy or kayak while snug in sling.

Testing has shown reduced engine exhaust noise on deck and keeps you drier from splashing in following seas since inflatable rests against transom.

1 person operation.

Feel secure knowing your dinghy is right behind you ready to deploy in a moments notice.  Add a ditch bag inside for safety.

Your Sling system will come in a sling back pack for easy storing or transfer to another boat.

Same product as sold on Harbormen Marine so please email any questions you may have.

Fits perfect on Cruisers, Back Cove, Searay, Formula, trawlers, catamaran and many other power boats and sailboats.

NOT for use with boat using outboard engines.

2014 Ram 1500, 1500 EcoDiesel tow ratings announced

Thu, 08 Aug 2013

Chrysler has announced the gasoline-powered 2014 Ram 1500 and 2014 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel tow ratings. The 305-hp Pentastar V6 can handle up to 7,450 lbs. Ram calls this performance “class-leading,” but there's a catch: If the consumer compares the base-level versions of the Ford F-150, GMC Sierra 1500 the Ram 1500 then it is true that the Ram 1500 edges out the competition.

CENTRAL LONDON has hit by an unusual traffic jam - accompanied not by the beeping of horns, but the bleating of sheep. Crowds of passers-by flocked to see the unusual spectacle as 20 Suffolk and Texel sheep were herded across London Bridge. The woolly creatures took a trip over the Thames as the Lord Mayor of the City of London exercised his ancient right to drive them across.
