Car crash revealed as parents’ biggest fear
Fri, 29 Aug 2014Parents of youngsters aged 16-25 are more worried about them being in a car crash than anything else – above becoming drug addicts or being unable to find a job. A poll by the Association of British Insurers (ABI) found that 62% of parents were worried about their kids being involved in a car accident. Less than a third, however, were worried about them taking illegal drugs or taking up smoking.

Sun, 05 May 2013There was talk that VW needed at least three of its brands to take the BlueSport project in to production, and there was talk not just of a VW Bluesport but also a SEAT BlueSport, one from Skoda, another from Audi and even a Porsche BlueSport. But in the end, not a single part of VW’s vast group seemed enamoured enough with the BlueSport to take the project forward. But it now looks as though the idea of the BlueSport is far from dead, with VW’s design boss, Walter de Silva, declaring that he’s a big fan of the BlueSport project, and he’s far from the only one in the VW Group who feels the same.

Sat, 06 Jul 2013The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta (pictured) will be at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed The 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed starts on Thursday with the Moving Motor Show, and Ferrari are planning a good turnout including the F12 Berlinetta popping its Goodwood Cherry. It’s nearly eighteen months since the Ferrari F12 was revealed, but this coming weekend it will get a chance to strut its 731bhp up the Goodwood hillclimb. With a 0-62mph of just 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 211mph (which isn’t that important up the hillclimb) the F12 promises a stunning spectacle for Goodwood’s visitors.
