NIB. Originally sold for $495. Sold my car for a new project. New header needs a loving home. Part was bought new by me. New owner will be impressed. Solid stainless not ceramic coated. This model's finish wont rust. DC Sports header when the company was owned and operated by AEM. This was the same era in import performance when DC Sports was solely dedicated to Honda/Acura performance, no other makes or models were included. When DC Sports originally designed this header they were the benchmark for what Honda/Acura exhaust tuning should be without going forced induction. The header for sale is an original, not a current knock off or fake part. The devil is in the details, the welds on this item are gorgeous! (Ever heard the term - stacking nickels?) I have owned both the ceramic coated and the stainless versions of this header. With the stainless version you get to hold what the company had originally considered their "best" for this model of car. It also has an added weight because of the use of a quality stainless steel. My point is not the weight gain but the fact that quality materials were utilized by DC Sports in this models production. The header would be perfect for a show car or project hot rod. This particular header was never mounted or mocked up to an engine or a car. You will be hard pressed to find this same model, in this condition, at the same price. Enjoy!

Ford Racing offers B-Spec kit for the Fiesta

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

While a B-Spec Ford Fiesta might seem like unsalted mashed potatoes compared with Ken Block's Hybrid-Function Hoon Vehicle variant, the basic car is plenty of fun when equipped with a manual transmission and shod with some good summer rubber. As such, Ford Racing is offering a kit to convert a showroom-fresh Fiesta hatch into an affordable racer eligible for SCCA, Grand-Am and World Challenge B-spec competition. The main mod involved is a coil-over suspension kit.

BMW Gran Coupé

Mon, 12 Dec 2011

BMW has announced its interpretation of the four-door coupé. Following in the footsteps of the Audi A7, Mercedes-Benz's CLS and the Porsche Panamera, the Gran Coupé is said to offer a level of practicality missing from its premium rivals. First unveiled in concept format, back at the 2007 Shanghai motor show as the Concept CS, the concept fell foul of the global recession before resurfacing at Beijing last year – again, in concept format.

Fancy driving Hyundai’s Hydrogen ix35 Fuel Cell?

Fri, 05 Oct 2012

As part of the European Hydrogen Road Tour, Hyundai are offering members of the public the chance to drive the ix35 FCEV. As we revealed back in August, the Hyundai ix35 FCEV – Hyundai’s hydrogen-powered electric ix35 – is going in to production before the end of 2012, the first proper production fuel cell vehicle…in the world. The initial production run is small – just 1,000 cars – but Hyundai are planning to put the ix35 FCEV in to full production by 2015, by which time they’re hoping there will be a viable hydrogen refuelling infrastructure in place.
