Notice: The 4.8RPM and 9RPM can't be made in CW or CCW direction. It is a non-directional AC motor. Owing to connect a DC to AC circuit board, it can be connected to the DC power supply. While the power supply's positive is connected to the red line, and the negative is connected to the black one. But if they are reversed, the motor doesn't work. when the load reaches the motor's rated torque, it is reversed automatically. Ford is creating a dedicated design studio for its luxury brand Lincoln in an ongoing bid to rejuvenate the brand and position it further apart from the core Ford offering. The new design studio will be situated in the Product Development Center in Dearborn, Michigan, with Max Wolff – recruited from Cadillac last year – charged with leading the brand in its revival efforts. Ford has also announced that it will be increasing spending on the brand, giving it unique interiors and powertrains.

Work has stopped on a planned electric version of the Opel Adam minicar due to high costs. The project had progressed to the development of a working car using technology from the upcoming Chevrolet Spark EV minicar. "It was a business decision," said Dieter Metz, Opel's chief engineer for the Adam.

One council - Cornwall - said it was being "starved of resources" and was considering stopping maintenance of rural roads. But the Department for Transport said billions of pounds were being provided for local highways maintenance and it was the responsibility of authorities to cope with severe weather.
