The production version of the Lincoln MKC Compact SUV (pictured) has been revealed When Ford divested itself of its premier marques – Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover – it left it with little wriggle room to compete in anything but the mainstream car market. Ford in Europe is trying to address that by launching ‘Vignale’ badged cars which promise to offer more ‘Premium quality’ than its mainstream models, and Ford in the US is doing the same thing by trying to reinvent the Lincoln badge as the answer to German premium models. Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's: New venue, same glittering show

Featuring a new name and a new venue, Detroit's famous concours returned on Sunday with the usual collection of glittering, chrome-laden classic and vintage automobiles. The Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's--formerly known as Meadow Brook--showcased more than 300 cars ranging from the dawn of transportation to contemporary classics.

An exhibition of the famous BMW Art Car collection is coming to the UK for the very first time – just in time for the Olympics. The Art Drive! exhibition is taking over the London Great Eastern Street car park from 21 July 2012, bringing a chance to see the BMW cars transformed by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists.
