Dean Jeffries Garage Personal Original Fiberglass Mold Hood Scoop Roof Vent Side on 2040-parts.com
Los Angeles, California, US
In this lot you will receive the upper and lower parts for a
simple hood scoop like mold. With
it, is an example of what it makes; a low and narrow scoop (picture 4).
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own an original scoop mold from the famous car fabricator!
I am unsure what Dean Jeffries used this particular scoop for, but it is fine example of the life’s work a man dedicated to automobiles. You could make many scoops from the mold, for yourself or for others. Each will be a clone from the car-DNA of Jeffries himself. Or just hang it on the wall as a memento!
The molds dimensions are: 17”x8”x1.5” tall. Note: Lots of dust from his garage is still on them.
If you are fan of Jeffries, this is you opportunity to own a personal item from the shop he ran for over 50 years. This was acquired at the Sept 14 garage sale conducted by the family of the late famous car fabricator.

Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera teases Geneva concept car
Wed, 15 Feb 2012Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera has released a teaser image of its 2012 Disco Volante Concept, which will debut at next month's Geneva motor show. In 1952, the Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring teamed up with Alfa Romeo to create a series of special-bodied cars to trial new technologies as well as being easily adaptable for racing. Perhaps the most famous (and beautiful) was the 1952 Alfa Romeo Disco Volante (C52) which was based on the Alfa 1900, with both coupe and Spider convertible bodies produced.
