Land Rover Freelander 2 off road video
Thu, 20 May 2010The 2010 Land Rover Freelander 2 - Off Road We had the Land Rover Freelander 2 for a week recently and found it – as we do with all current Land Rover products – to be even better than you’d have thought. But what was quite surprising is how well the Freelander 2 manages the rough stuff. New Ford Kuga: Titanium and Titanium X make up 87% of sales
Tue, 26 Feb 2013The new Ford Kuga is now hitting UK showrooms, and Ford has revealed that 87% of buyers are opting for the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models. But what’s most interesting – in what is supposed to be a cash-strapped economy – is that a full 87 per cent of all the new Kugas ordered so far have been the range-topping Titanium and Titanium X models, and the average up-spend on options is another £1,000 on top of that. That means that although the Ford Kuga range starts at £21,000, 87 per cent of buyers are actually spending between £25-30k on their new compact SUV, which must warm the cockles of Ford’s heart.
Map-reading driver gets ban and hefty fine
Thu, 29 May 2014AN ELDERLY driver has been fined more than £1,000 and banned for a year after he was caught reading a map at the wheel. Peter John Rigby, 73, of Beamsley in Skipton, North Yorkshire, was captured by police cameras flicking through an atlas for at least 10 seconds while driving his Honda Jazz on March 4. The car caught the attention of a camera operator when it began to wander across the white line of the overtaking lane.
