Honda CR-Z Hybrid by 2010
Mon, 13 Jul 2009Honda are bringing the Honda CR-Z Hybrid to market next year, based on the CR-Z Concept from 2007 Honda’s first production Hybrid – the Honda Insight, recently called the worst car in the world – has not been a resounding success. True, it looks better than the Toyota Prius but – and we haven’t driven one yet so we can’t comment from our own experience – it’s not a great car. It has also been eclipsed – after a promising start – by the Toyota Prius, which has doubled its sales in Japan.

Tue, 13 Sep 2011Seat has unveiled its new IBL saloon and sports coupe crossover concept car, announcing that it is the next evolution of its design DNA. While the exterior of the IBL is understated, much emphasis has been placed on the design of the interior. Technology within the car displays information in three programs – ‘Travel' for relaxed driving, ‘Sport' for concentrated driving or ‘Efficiency' for focused fuel-efficiency of the plug-in hybrid drive.
BMW unveils 2012 Olympic Pavilion
Tue, 07 Feb 2012BMW – one of the major sponsors of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games – has unveiled its pavilion for the event. Designed by British architecture firm Serie, the Pavilion makes use of various carbon reducing and recycled elements in its construction to symbolize BMW's sustainability drive. The Pavilion's upper platform will feature a range of BMW products, including the new i3 and i8 electric models, whilst the lower part will house an interactive display that allows visitors to view just how BMW is supporting both the Olympic games and Team GB.
