When
used with a Viper Security System the 516U will
give the Viper warn away message "STAND BACK THIS VEHICLE IS PROTECTED
BY VIPER" instead of a warn away chirp. Or the DEI 516U can produce
a generic warn away message in either Spanish or English when used with
any other alarm system.
If used with the optional DEI 508D Dual Zone Motion Sensor (must
be purchased separately) it can give a warning when someone gets
too close to the vehicle. Other messages include "ARMED",
"DISARMED" and much more.
