DELCO-ROCHESTER CARBURETORS

1970 – 1971- 1972

Buick Cadillac Chevrolet Oldsmobile Pontiac

QUADRAJET – 2GC/2GV - Monojet

You know, each year carburetors differed from Rochester and GM. Now when a problem arises or you need specs to do a rebuilt or adjustments correct, you now have one source.

When bought individually from me, these would add up at least $45.00. These books dated 1970, 1971 & 1972 are the ones that went to the GM Training Schools and Dealerships for hands-on learning and repairs/adjustments of these carburetors. You will find page after page of pictures, illustrations and most valued, correct specifications that you will not find in other books. These are the books that other companies used to get their information from! No lousy photos or non-legible print as these professional copies have been made from the absolutely pristine, just out of a GM envelope, original documents. No more searching huge catalogs or blind testing.

1)   1970 5.5x8.5 is 24 pages

2)   1971 5.5x8.5 is 28 pages

3)   1972 5.5x8.5 is 31 pages

4)   1972 8.5x11 is 35 pages (a very nice booklet)

These are part of a collection from a former General Motors Instructor who was with the Moorestown, NJ School from 1956 to its closure a few years back! He collected items and NOS parts that date back to 1958 thru 1973, some having never been opened! I’m listing the books and parts as I open the boxes and find the time.

You just don’t find a booklet like this at a flea market or auto book sellers because they were not distributed to the public; they went DIRECTLY to the dealers, so add this to your collection; you won’t be disappointed!

Google reveals its first self-driving car prototype (video)

Wed, 28 May 2014

Google’s first self-driving car prototype (pictured) Google might not be the first company that springs to mind as a car maker, but Tesla has already proved that Silicon Valley can produce a car that buyers want and Google are intent on following a similar route. But where Tesla’s USP is its long-range electric capabilities – and a desire to build cars for the market – Google’s goal is more technology orientated and is all about developing self-driving car technology that works in the real world. For the last few years, Google has been experimenting with existing cars kitted out with self-driving gubbins, but now they’ve taken the next step and built their own self-driving prototype.

Chrysler reveals new 2014 Jeep Cherokee

Fri, 22 Feb 2013

Chrysler Group revealed photographs and the name of its replacement for the Jeep Liberty on Friday after unofficial photographs of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee showed up earlier in the day. The automaker had hoped to keep the mid-size SUV -- and its name -- secret until a planned reveal at the New York auto show in late March. However, photos of several 2014 Cherokees taken during pre-production at Chrysler's Toledo North Assembly plant were unveiled Friday morning on the site Jalopnik.com.
