2013 Ford Fusion Energi gets range of 620 miles
Thu, 17 Jan 2013The hybrid wars continue -- much less exciting than the MyFord Touch -- after the Detroit auto show, and Ford has thrown it latest punch: the 2013 Fusion Energi plug-in hybrid. The Energi is the Blue Oval's fifth electrified vehicle to launch in the past year, and will arrive with a total gas and electric range of 620 miles. That's 120 miles more than the 2014 Honda Accord hybrid and 80 miles more than the Prius hybrid.

The Caterham AeroSeven isn’t a look at Caterham’s version of the Renault Alpine project, but a new track-inspired road car designed in a collaboration between Caterham Technology and Innovation, Caterham F1 and Caterham Cars. The new Aero Seven’s underpinnings come from a revised version of the Seven CSR’s chassis with pushrod suspension at the front and full IRS with new dampers and springs.
Toyota to pay $32.4 million U.S. fine over timing of recalls
Tue, 21 Dec 2010Toyota Motor Corp. agreed on Monday to pay two more safety fines for a total of $32.4 million, the maximum allowable under U.S. law, to settle federal investigations of whether the company notified regulators of safety defects in timely fashion.
