Citroen DS3 Racing: UK price & details
Mon, 23 Aug 2010Citroen DS3 UK Details & Prices We brought news of the Citroen DS3 Racing back in February and now, some six months on, Citroen has got round to sending us some concrete details and UK prices. Which are a bit of a surprise. The Citroen DS3 Racing is going to cost a hefty £23,100 (which as it won’t be hitting customers until early 2011 does include VAT at 20% – still steep though) when it arrives in 2011.
BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video)
Sat, 14 Dec 2013BMW i3 EV takes to the race track (video) The BMW i3 EV City Car finally got revealed in July in production guise, and it’s a clever car if not exactly a looker. With a lightweight inner body made from carbon fibre and an electric motor that offers 168 bhp and an instant 184lb/ft of torque it has more than enough power to keep up with traffic in any city. Sadly, the i3 hasn’t done particularly well in Euro NCAP tests but that hasn’t stopped orders for the i3 exceeding anything BMW could have reasonably expected.
Porsche Cayman GTS and Boxster GTS (2014) first official pictures
Wed, 19 Mar 2014By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 19 March 2014 17:00 The Porsche Cayman GTS and its soft-top doppelgänger, the Boxster GTS, take the fight to their 911 big brother like no Porsche sports car before. Thanks to a respective 15bhp power hike from their 3.4-litre straight-six engines, the GTS twins shave precious tenths of their 0-62mph time, with the Cayman arriving in 4.6sec (when specced with the PDK paddeshifter gearbox), and the Boxster in 4.7sec. The respective top speeds are 177mph and 174mph.
