Thu, 08 Feb 2007By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 08 February 2007 04:17 More than 30 parties have expressed an interest in buying the remnants of TVR, the sports car maker which crashed into administration over Christmas - and the factory could move to Asia. Administrator PKF (UK) LLP has spent the past month clarifying the assets of Blackpool Automotive Ltd, the company that ran the Blackpool factory, and it in fact holds several trump cards that could prevent the Russian owner switching production overseas. The sale advert in the Financial Times reveals that Blackpool Automotive controls the TVR trademark in Europe and the US, as well as all the intellectual property rights and tooling for the sports cars.

The Noble M600 is an impressive supercar from one of the UK’s most interesting ‘Garden Shed’ supercar builders, even if it’s gestation period seems to have been ten times that of an elephant. The M600 ‘arrived’ in 2009 ready to rock and roll, or so we thought, but then seemed to disappear again.

Tue, 15 Jul 2014The new Jaguar XE will be revealed in London in September The new Jaguar XE – the new smaller Jaguar that aims to take the fight to cars like the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes C Class – will be revealed in London on 8th September, and Jaguar are promising the new XE will be “true sports saloon with class-leading dynamics, refinement and technology”. Jaguar want us to see the XE as a spiritual successor to the Mark II Jaguar, a car that redefines the sports saloon and is a proper drivers car. It’s a big aim, but it looks to have a lot of promise.
