Install this car kit in a second vehicle, and you'll be able to transfer the SKYFi3 easily from one car to another. The kit includes a car cradle with several mounting options, a car power adapter, a roof-mount XM antenna, and cassette adapter. If your stereo has an auxiliary input, you can connect the cradle directly to it with an optional audio cable for best sound. Detroit auto show: Ford pumps up the 2011 Mustang GT with 412 hp

To Ford Mustang fans, 5.0 has a special place in their hearts and Ford has delivered a new car for them to love: the 2011 Mustang GT. The 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT will deliver 412 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. The engine produces 83 hp per liter yet will return 25 mpg on the highway and 17 mpg in the city, according to Ford marketing boss Jim Farley.

Fifty-five years ago was the third consecutive year that a former Air Force base in Montgomery, N.Y., served as a racetrack. The Governor's Trophy Race was a growing event and spectators only had to travel 75 miles from New York City to see race legends like Carroll Shelby compete. Nearly 30,000 spectators came to the two-day event in 1957, and race organizers were expecting even more in 1958.
