Honda S660 concept stars at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013

Honda is calling the S660 a concept, but when company president Takanobu Ito took to the stage at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, one of the first things he did was confirm this exciting new small sports car – the spiritual successor to the Honda Beat – will be going into production in 2015. This is great news for Honda, and Ito-san acknowledged a next-generation small sports car has been long awaited by Honda fans, who’ve had little excitement to cheer about since the last Civic Type R and the S2000 roadster were stripped from the model line up. Octavia Greenline hits new fuel economy high

BUSINESS users on a budget have been given some good news with the announcement of a fuel-sipping new Skoda Octavia Greenline. Thanks to its inherently lighter third-generation chassis, the spacious Octavia is now capable of 88.3mpg in EU standard tests, which corresponds to just 85g/km of CO2. The amazing figures put the car on an emissions par with the likes of the Volkswagen Golf BlueMotion and even the supermini Kia Rio 1.1 diesel.

2015 Smart ForTwo and Smart ForFour teased in new video

The new Smart ForTwo and Smart ForFour (pictured) teased The new Renault Twingo has already been revealed, but the new Smart, which shares the majority of components, isn’t due to debut until the Paris Motor Show in October. But October isn’t that far away now, so Smart had released a teaser video for both the new Smart ForTwo and For Four as they build interest for the debut. The video was shot in Sweden where Smart are running camouflaged prototypes on test ahead of the launch, and the video allows the first look of the new Smarts on the move.
