With the DENSION GATEWAY 500S we present the iPod / iPhone + USB + AUX interface for all models of the luxury and upper middle class with MOST bus (such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes or Porsche).

The quality DENSION GATEWAY 500S can come to their best advantage the remarkable sound potential of your iPod or iPhone's.

Besides the perfect iPod & iPhone integration provides the DENSION GATEWAY 500S a number of additional interfaces for external audio sources. So you can connect as USB flash drives or portable USB hard drives for music playback via the integrated USB port.

Android (USB)

Simply connect via your USB cable and then select the USB connection type "USB Mass Storage Device" (USB Mass Storage) from. Your Android Smartphone Just as your Android phone is detected and the music can be as described above in "USB" - Modus play and use.

Please note:
The USB connection type "MTP" (Media Transfer Protocol) and "PTP" (Picture Transfer Protocol) is not supported. Check in advance to connect to the PC to see if your Android smartphone the best USB mass Modus supported (USB Mass Storage).

Well by the existing audio input ( Aux-in ) for additional external multimedia components such as a DVD player, a game console PlayStation alá, tablet, smartphone, mobile phone or MP3 player to connect, as a voice recorder or PDA.

  • Audi
    • Your vehicle should be directed instead to a steering wheel remote control to the telephone function to enable tidy.
  • BMW
    • The original BMW car radio / navigation system must be MP3 capability.
    • If a CD changer is installed, it must MP3 capable (exception: E60, E61, E63, E64; in these models only non-MP3-compatible CD changer were installed, should such be present in these models) This conditions are at about 80% of compatible vehicles.
    • If your vehicle does not meet the above requirements, please read on:
      Ways to make your vehicle through updates of the MOST system "MP3 capability":
      • Vehicles with existing CD changer:
        If your radio / navigation system or your standard-CD changer are not MP3 capability, please inquire at your BMW dealer town or at your BMW dealer whether the MP3 capability can be produced by a software update of the MOST system. (The exception changer listed under 2.b in E60, E61, E63, E64 can (and must not) be made with MP3 capability.)
      • Vehicles without an existing CD changer
        If MOST no CD changer is installed in your BMW, please inquire at your BMW dealer or city at your BMW dealer whether the necessary MP3 capability of the CD changer port can still be realized. It has an original MP3 compatible CD changer are installed temporarily for the update process. (Exception: E60, E61, E63, E64, for these models exist only non-MP3-compatible CD changer, here has such a use for the update process.)
  • Mercedes
    • Radio & navigation systems must be "text Capable"
  • Porsche
    • If no CD changer is installed it must programmed & simulate.
    • If you want to use the Bluetooth® handsfree function included, the factory radio / navigation system with a "Phone" button should be directed instead.
      • Also note, in some cases, must activate the phone in your Porsche dealer will be activated.
