BMW 5 Series GT (w/ Video)

BMW officially took the wraps off the production version 5 Series Gran Turismo today. The new model, previewed in concept form at the Geneva motor show in March, is set to bridge the gap between the automaker's X5 SUV and the 5 Series Touring wagon. As we expected, BMW has remained true to form: the 5 Series GT is identical to the design of its concept precursor, including a lower body section and taillamps that call to mind the latest BMW 7 Series, a front end reminiscent of the CS concept, and an upper cabin design familiar to anyone who's seen an X6.  The interior has seen the most change, if only in color and trim.

The Renaultsport Megane 250 The latest offering from Renaultsport to hit UK shores is the Megane, which had it’s official reveal at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September and is now due to go on sale from the 1st November in the UK, with first customer cars arriving in January 2010. Renault are offering up two versions of the Renaultsport Megane – the hard-core 250 Cup version which will have you queueing at the osteopaths and the slightly softer, and better equipped, Megane 250. Just to complicate matters you can opt for the more back-friendly Megane 250 with its extra kit including auto lights and wipers, leather and electric seats and specify it with the Cup pack.

In what seems a strange move, MBUSU – Mercedes in the States – is dropping the SLS AMG from its range in favour of the SLS AMG GT. When the Mercedes SLS AMG GT was revealed last week we were sure it was a new addition to the SLS range; a more edgy SLS for those wanting a bit more hard-core from their SLS and willing to dig a bit deeper to have one.
