Bentley EXP 9 F (2012) new pictures

Bentley has today released a new series of pictures of the EXP 9 F concept car, designed to reflect the car's all-terrain ability and 'Bentley’s intent to build the fastest and most luxurious SUV in the world.' With a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine good for 592bhp and 590lb ft, you'd expect the Bentley 4x4 to be no slouch. But the big question remains: is the EXP 9 F's styling growing on the naysayers? SEMA adds four to hall of fame

The Specialty Equipment Market Association is adding four names to its hall of fame: Gray Baskerville, Art Chrisman, Chris Economaki and John Towle. The SEMA Hall of Fame recognizes those who have especially helped foster the growth of the special-equipment automotive industry. -- Baskerville was senior editor of Hot Rod magazine for 30 years, though his writing is what really secured his ticket to the hall.

Jaguar XF CKD assembly starts in India

Jaguar Land Rover has started assembling the Jaguar XF at its plant in Pune, India, in a move to reduce XF retail prices in India. Lower taxes on cars assembled in India from CKD kits produced in the UK  (although not as low as they were), rather than importing complete cars from the UK, mean assembling the Jaguar XF in India will give the XF  - already Jaguar’s best-selling car in India – a more attractive headline price. That means the 3.0 litre Jaguar XF dropping in price from 5.8 million rupees (around £68k) to 5.1 million (around £60k) and the newly introduced 2.2 litre diesel XF will come to market at 4.5 million rupees (around £53k).
