Subaru’s WRC Impreza rally car (2008): first pictures

By Nick Gibbs First Official Pictures 21 May 2008 09:37 Subaru has surprised the rally world by announcing it will launch its new WRC Impreza at next week’s Acropolis Rally in Greece, two events earlier than expected. The Prodrive-developed five-door WRC car, which is based on Subaru’s hatchback Impreza, uses the same 2.0-litre turbo engine that powered the old rally car, but does away with the traditional yellow lettering in favour of Subaru’s silver and white corporate logo. Hardcore fans panic not: the blue paintwork and iconic gold wheels stay.

Design Sevices: MCE Design Workshops

Independent design studio Motorcity Europe (MCE) is launching another series of two- and five-day design workshops aimed at broadening the skills, experience and job prospects of anyone working - or looking to work - within the field of automotive design. Based on the massive success of the MCE Summer Seminars, these follow up workshops in February 2010 will be an intensely improved version, open to all skill levels of design. 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan priced at $46,025

The base 2014 Cadillac CTS sedan will cost $46,025 when it goes on sale this fall. That’s a $6,035 increase from the current model’s $39,990 price after shipping charges. For 2014, the CTS sedan is seeing a major overhaul, with a longer, leaner body and a new optional twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 420 hp.
