How South America designed the Ford Ka

The Ka Concept was shown at the São Paulo auto show in Brazil in November 2013, and was revealed in production form last week. It marks the first time the Ka has reflected the broader brand homogeneity of the 'One Ford' design strategy, and continues the Ka's shift in direction from the distinctive original.The new car is the work of Ford's South American design studio in Camaçari, Brazil - its second 'One Ford' car, following the EcoSport. Vauxhall / Opel Adam spied undisguised

The GM rival for the MINI and Fiat 500 – the Vauxhall and Opel Adam – has been caught undisguised on a photo shoot in Spain. The last news we had of what we thought was going to be the Opel Junior was GM’s announcement that it would actually be the Opel Adam – named after Opel’s founder – and, oddly, also the Vauxhall Adam. So far we’ve only seen the usually prototypes with swirly camouflage floating around Europe’s roads, but now we get the first shots of the Adam grabbed undisguised on a photoshoot in Spain.

Sell-Out Goodwood Revival Wows The Crowds

A SELL-OUT crowd of 148,000 enjoyed the 17th Goodwood Revival Meeting on the weekend of September 12-14 at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. The on-track highlights included the annual RAC TT Celebration race for early-1960s GT cars, comprising a £150 million field that included Jaguar E-types, Aston Martin Project cars and even a Bizzarini. The 60th anniversary of the Jaguar D-Type was marked with a 30-car parade plus the Lavant Cup race exclusively for examples of the Le Mans-winning British sportscar, while the Maserati 250F also turned 60 with variants of the Italian grand prix car making up two thirds of the Richmond Trophy field for front-engined F1 machinery of the late 1950s.
