At the end of January we reported that the Geneva Motor Show would see the debut of a more powerful Audi TT and a new RS4. Automotive X Prize teams begin performance testing in Michigan
Tue, 27 Apr 2010The 28 teams competing in the Progressive Insurance Automotive X Prize will begin performance testing this week at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Mich. The teams are vying for $10 million in prizes, which will be awarded to consumer-friendly vehicles that exceed 100 mpg. This week begins the first of the three on-track performance testing stages: shakedown, knockout qualifying and finals.
Jag Land Rover factory closure ‘already decided'

The car making group, which manufactures around 250,000 cars a year, operates out of three UK sites: Castle Bromwich and Solihull near Birmingham, and Halewood near Liverpool. Those sorts of volumes are more normally associated with a single factory or, at a push, two.
