Ram 1500 EcoDiesels are selling like hotcakes so far
Wed, 19 Feb 2014We've been anticipating the arrival of the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel -- and speculating about what it means for the pickup market -- for months. On paper, the truck seems to make perfect sense: The 3.0-liter V6 in the 1500 EcoDiesel returns 23 mpg combined (20 city/28 highway) while producing 240 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. After taking it for a spin, the $30,465 base price didn't seem too bad, either.
Italian Grand Prix (2012) RESULT
Sun, 09 Sep 2012With McLaren locking out the front row of the grid in Monza, will the 2012 Italian Grand Prix see the Woking team dominate? This time it was Lewis Hamilton who dominated from the lights – only briefly losing the lead during a pit stop – after a clean start saw him put clear air between the McLaren and a fired-up Massa who managed to wedge his Ferrari between Hamilton and Button before the first corner.
Campaign To Encourage Switch To Low Emissions Motoring Launched
Fri, 31 Jan 2014IN A bid to boost consumer awareness of the increasing numbers of low emissions vehicles entering the market, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg MP has helped to launch a new promotional campaign. Backed by some of the automotive world's biggest players - BMW, Nissan, Renault, Toyota and Vauxhall – the 12-month long ‘Go Ultra Low' campaign will prompt car buyers to consider the benefits of pure electric, plug-in hybrid and extended-range vehicles with information about their low running costs, ease of charging and impressive range. Consumers will be directed to new website, (www.GoUltraLow.com) offering information about owning and running such vehicles, the makes and models available and the locations of the thousands of publicly available electricity charging points.
