Aston Martin recall the majority of cars built since 2007
Thu, 06 Feb 2014Aston Martin are recalling most of their cars from the last six years A recall by Aston Martin of 17,590 cars might not seem a big deal when you’ve seen recalls from the likes of Toyota running in to the millions. But Aston Martin is a small, bespoke make of high-end luxury GTs and Sports cars, and 17,590 cars is three-quarters of all the cars they’ve built since November 2007. The recall affects all left-hand drive cars built from November 2007 to December 2013 and all right-hand drive cars from May 2012 to December 2013 and is because of some less than kosher plastics in the accelerator pedal.
First glimpse of the new Corvette ahead of NAIAS debut
Tue, 23 Oct 2012The first video and teaser shots of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette have emerged, offering just a glimpse of what we can expect when it is launched at the NAIAS in Detroit in January. The video shows desigers working on a clay model before we get a bit too much gratuitous racetrack footage. It's after this we can finally take a look at some detail shots.
2013 Maserati Quattroporte night testing (video)
Sat, 29 Dec 2012Maserati has released a video of the 2013 Quattroporte out night testing ahead of a Detroit Auto Show public debut. The new Quattroporte is bigger and more powerful than the current model and leaves Maserati room to introduce a smaller version – the new Maserati Ghibli – to take on the sports saloons from BMW, Mercedes and Jaguar. To be honest, the video tells us little we don’t already know about the new Quattroporte (except perhaps that it has frameless glass in the side windows), but it does indicate how keen Maserati are to keep the new Quattroporte’s PR momentum on the move ahead of its debut.
