2011 Ford F-150 aims for fuel economy, power

The Ford F-Series has been America's top-selling truck for decades. But in a nod to changing times, Ford is now also focusing on fuel economy for its iconic truck for the 2011 model year. The F-150, which is offering a V6 again this year, will get 23 mpg on the highway and 16 mpg in city driving using the naturally aspirated, 3.7-liter V6 that makes 302 hp.

Mercedes-Benz considering Aston Martin buyout

Mercedes-Benz is reportedly considering a deal to buyout sports car manufacturer Aston Martin, fuelling rumours that the canned Aston Martin Lagonda SUV concept from 2009 (pictured above) could once again be back on. The move would see Merc increase its current 5% stake in the British brand following a deal announced last year to supply AMG engines for Aston’s next generation of sports cars. Vuhl 05 supercar (2013) first official pictures

The Vuhl 05 has been revealed to the media in London, making its world premier at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall. Designed to take on the likes of the KTM X-Bow and Ariel Atom as a road and track toy, the 05 is the work of two Mexican brothers who have backing from the Mexican government. It’ll be on sale in Europe, expected to be its biggest market, from early 2014.
