If you have a Seadoo that needs DESS programming, or if you have multiple skis that you would like to all use the same keys, I can help. I can reset your service hours (not runtime hours) to turn off any maintenance light caused by hours between service. You can send a key with your MPEM(new or used) or I can supply one for a fee. Fast turn around. This service is only for the 2 stroke Seadoos with an MPEM (except Di). Please contact me first to make sure your ski is one that can be done. All versions of the hybrid get Honda’s 2.0-liter four-cylinder Atkinson-cycle engine with a two-motor hybrid system.
Honda back in F1 as engine supplier to McLaren from 2015
Thu, 16 May 2013We reported that Honda were looking likely to be heading back in to F1 as engine supplier to McLaren nearly two years ago, and this morning Honda has confirmed they have formed a joint project with McLaren to supply engines and energy recovery systems to McLaren from 2015 in a joint project with the McLaren team becoming McLaren Honda. The new F1 partnership revives a very successful period for McLaren when it last used Honda engines and Prost and Senna dominated F1 with Honda powered McLarens, and fits in nicely with Honda’s return to making supercars with the new Honda NSX. Formula One engines will drop to a 1.6 litre V6 in 2015 – with a turbo – and it will be very easy for parallels to be drawn with the V6 hybrid plant Honda are using on the new NSX, which is going to do its credibility no harm whatsoever.
BMW i8 production car revealed – costs £99,845: Frankfurt 2013
Tue, 10 Sep 2013The new BMW i8 Hybrid (pictured) will cost £100k in the UK The BMW i8 jas finally arrived in production guise at the Frankfurt Motor show, neatly creating the top end of BMW’s new i-brand range after the BMW i3 underlined the starting point. Looking really quite appealing, the i8 uses the same carbon fibre reinforced plastic bodyshell and aluminium chassis construction as the i3, but whereas the i3 is built to be a city car, the i8 is the closest we’re likely to get to a 21st century version of the BMW M1. Similar in size to the Audi R8, the BMW i8 is a 2+2 with a 3-cylinder 1.5 litre engine and generator sitting at the back and driving the rear wheels and an electric motor at the front driving the front wheels, with a petrol tank at the back and the batteries for the electric motor stored in the centre tunnel.
