The Detroit "53" series were also designed to operate at higher RPM's than the "71" series Detroit.

I have also seen a big block Camaro with this model / size blower mounted on top as a Supercharger. It looked quite impressive and ran great.

This size Supercharger could be used upon a 318cid. engine with a 1: to 1: blower drive pulley ratio if made to use on a Street Rod.

These are a little longer than the older B&M blowers that I was around back in the early 1990's. They have the same straight designed rotors similar to the B&M's of back then. (Look at the photographs.)

So if you want almost 50% more horses, double the torque and a unique appearance that stands out from the rest, you may consider one of these as your project.

This is a "New Old Stock" (NOS) so I cannot offer a warranty.

Now, to celebrate Volvo Polestar’s double title (drivers –  Thed Björk - and constructors) in the 2013  Scandinavian Touring Car Championship they’re producing a limited number of Polestar ‘Black R’ models of the S60, V60 and XC60, but only for Sweden. Google’s Android Auto and Apple’s CarPlay software platforms will be available from 2015, in what Audi describes as a ‘milestone in smartphone integration’. The system will eventually allow Audi drivers to connect their smartphone to the car’s Multi Media Interface to make calls, send and receive messages, as well as getting directions and playing music.
