Detroit Series 60 825 Hp Mim on 2040-parts.com
Frisco, North Carolina, United States
Several years ago, in an effort to clear up a smoking issue, my mechanic suggested replacing the MIM. The part costed over $2,000. When it didn't fix the problem I bought the old one back. They say in the event of a lightning strike, the MIM is the weak link, so I figured it wasn't a bad thing to have on board as a spare. Boat is sold, no longer need. Many more boat parts and series 60 parts as well as fishing gear.
