Vintech P550 Tribute – Porsche 550 reborn (2012)

French company Vintech will show this classy P550 Tribute coupe at the 2012 Pebble Beach concours this week. No prizes for guessing that it's inspired by Porsche's pert 550. The P550 Tribute is a carbon-bodied two-seater due to be shown at the The Quail: A Motorsports Gathering on 17 August 2012.

Mercedes-Benz Citan

Mercedes-Benz has released these images of its new urban delivery van, the Citan. The small panel van moves Mercedes-Benz into a hotly contested section of the market, against established rivals such as the Volkswagen Caddy and Ford Transit Connect. The Citan will be available in a variety of body configurations from the two-seat version shown in the sketches to a crewbus, as well as a variety of options of both length and weight.

Hyundai has significant new model news and a piece of range expansion to announce at the 2012 Geneva motor show with the unveiling of a facelifted i20 supermini and a spanking fresh turbo diesel for its Veloster coupe-cum-hatchback.  One at a time now – will the Veloster line up neatly behind the i20 please. What’s happening to that then? Perhaps slightly stung by critics in some quarters dismissing the Mk1 i20 as being rather Euro-bland, the Korean’s all-new i20 is a rather pretty-looking thing. Nose-wise it has a wide-mouthed, grinning hexagonal grille and little creases filtering up from it and the headlamp cluster, which look uncannily like laughter lines.
