We're happy to continue offering Aircraft Information Manuals. They include the same data and limitations contained in the original aircraft Pilot's Operating Handbook. These aircraft manuals are officially known as 'Aircraft Information Manuals'. We offer exceptional manuals for many aircraft models and years.  For years, obtaining an Information Manual has been surprisingly difficult. But not any more. These original manuals are a great way to review key subjects before flight lessons and are invaluable when transitioning to a new airplane. They are also perfect for renters who do not have access to an airplane-specific Pilot's Operating Handbook. Includes important information like checklists, limitations, systems descriptions and performance charts. An essential for students and professionals alike.

This is a new manual, only available for sale because we lost our DA42.

New these are 123 dollars elsewhere.

Just 45 dollars for this Da42 Information Manual.

Concept Car of the Week: Renault Argos (1994)

Fri, 09 Nov 2012

The 1994 Renault Argos concept is the little sports car based on the humble Twingo that continues to resonate in design terms. Designed by current PSA Director of Design, Jean-Pierre Ploué, the minimalist three-seater ushered in a new design movement dubbed ‘Esprit Nouveau' (New Spirit) that re-instated The Car as an industrial machine after a period of organic, Bio-design influence. Pared-back, broken down into its component parts and proudly bare, the Argos mixed the post-industrial functionality of a contemporary fighter aircraft with a twist of Steampunk fantasy.

Paramount Marauder – yep, the one from Top Gear

Mon, 27 Jun 2011

The Marauder lays waste a wall We knew the Hamster was off to South Africa to play with a vehicle that made the Hummer look like a Tonka Toy. And we knew – because they ‘hinted’ at it when we spoke to them last week – that the whole Top Gear segment had more than a little to do with the Paramount Group in South Africa, purveyors of innovative armoured vehicles. So, as suspected, we were treated to Richard conquering the Urban Jungle of Johannesburg in the Paramount Marauder, an aptly-named, go anywhere, seemingly indestructible piece of military hardware made street-legal.
