 This heat exchanger has 2 taped hole to accept  glow plugs,2 lines in and out for preheat before the filter and  after. Thus keeping you filer from getting clogged and maintaining heated fuel to the injectors. Also comes with a relay to configure with switch if you like to preheat the glow plugs you provide( from a Mercedes 300sd)  and a thermostat taken from an electric  hot water tank to auto switch on and off at the preset temp.
This is good in deep cold even if you use regular diesel to keep it flowing and for better fuel economy.
This is a good well built unit built here in the U.S.A @ a reasonable price(never used)

Detroit Electric has revealed the SP:01, a Lotus Exige based electric sports carĀ promisingĀ 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a range of 190 miles. 999 are being built. Detroit Electric is a re-birth of a once well-known electric vehicle maker in the US (that’s well-known pre-WWII) that’s been revived by former Group head of Lotus Engineering, Albert Lam, set up shop in Michigan with the intention of emulating Tesla’s route to EV credibility by building its own Lotus EV.
