Jaguar offers all-wheel drive - but not for UK

Jaguar has confirmed four-wheel-drive models will join its range once again, for the first time since the AWD X-type was killed off back in 2009. The first 4wd Jaguars will be the XJ and XF ranges. They'll be petrol-powered only, and just in saloon form for now, but don't get too excited if you're a UK customer: Jaguar has no plans to bring the all-paw big cats over here any time soon.

Volvo to trial self-driving cars on public roads

Volvo Volvo has announced that it will soon begin a trial of 100 self-driving cars on the public roads around the Swedish city of Gothenburg. While many other carmakers – and Google – have been experimenting with this kind of autonomous driving technology, the ‘Drive Me – Self-driving cars for sustainable mobility’ project is set to see driverless cars mix with real traffic on real roads. The AML V12 Zagato arrives at the Nurburgring. We knew that the Aston Martin V12 Zagato – which recently took Vill d’Este by storm – was heading for the Nurburgring to stretch its muscles. What we didn’t know was that it would turn up in a fetching shade of Kermit green, complete with enormous wing and rear diffuser.
