Overview: The 9656V 1-way Remote System comes with a control center/valet button/LED, and two 5-button, one-way transmitters (7656V). The system can be integrated into an existing Viper security system, remote start, or keyless entry system. The remotes have a range of up to 1/2 mile. 1-way Operation: The 9656V is a 1-way remote system, which means that commands can travel wirelessly from the remote transmitter to the Control Center, and ultimately to the security/remote start system's control module. In a 1-way system, no confirmation response is received by the remote. Button Configuration: The 7656V transmitter has 5 buttons with the following configuration (depending upon the capabilities of your system):

Thu, 13 Feb 2014GM is recalling 788,000 Cobalt and Pontiac G5 sedans for a potentially deadly problem with the ignition system. When the vehicles' keys are connected to heavy key chains (or, say, key rings laden with a dozen extra keys), a sufficiently extreme jolt or impact could shift the ignition out of the "run" position and into the "off" position. Cuts electrical power to the vehicles' systems, in turn deactivating the airbags.

Nissan wins New York taxi bid

"The new taxis will be custom-designed to meet the specific demands of carrying 600,000 passengers a day in New York City traffic," Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Tuesday. "The vehicle meets the top priorities identified by the public in our online survey." Nissan was battling Ford Motor Co.
