Porsche Panamera Hybrid: Geneva Reveal
Sun, 13 Feb 2011The Porsche Panamera Hybrid (click for bigger image) We’ve got to say, the news that the Porsche Panamera Hybrid (strictly speaking, the Porsche Panamera S Hybrid) is going to debut at the Geneva Motor Show in a couple of weeks time isn’t exactly a shock. After all, Porsche has made no secret of its plans to stick Hybrid gubbins in the Panamera; CO2 targets, and all that guff. We’ve gathered together some of the best Ice Bucket Challenges from the pitlane, featuring such luminaries as Lewis Hamilton, the Red Bull team and even the BBC F1 commentary squad. It makes for pretty compelling viewing: and if anyone can afford to be generous with their donations it’s the mega-money world of top-flight motorsport.
Drivers say no to more diesel costs
Mon, 15 Sep 2014THREE QUARTERS of drivers in the UK say there should be no more additional costs for those driving a diesel car. Under proposals for Ultra Low Emissions Zones (ULEZ), diesel car drivers would be charged more to drive in towns and cities across the UK. With the possibility of ULEZs becoming widespread by 2020, 75.4% of drivers in the UK say they object to this plan and are not prepared to pay more to use their car.
