As the only purpose built product of its kind currently available, Dirty Bits radiator screens tackle dirt bike radiator protection from a new angle. Influenced by ideas used by MX race teams from all over the world, these radiator screens offer a neat solution to protect against mud, dirt and small rocks.

National womens MX champ #18 Maddy Brown took a set these things to a National SX podium finish just a few weeks ago in Bathurst, and you can expect to see a lot more of our top riders doing great things with them next year.National womens MX champ #18 Maddy Brown took a set these things to a National SX podium finish just a few weeks ago in Bathurst, and you can expect to see a lot more of our top riders doing great things witThe unique screen design sits neatly behind the bikes existing plastic radiator fins, and protects the radiator core from small rocks and dirt in wet or dry conditions. In wet and muddy conditions, Dirty Bits radiator screens reduce the amount of mud build-up that clogs your radiators, as mud falls off the mesh material easier than it would from the actual radiator core.

Other key design aspects of Dirty Bits radiator screens are:

  • Only soft parts contact the radiator core, ensuring that the screens can not cause any wear to the radiator.

  • Lightweight and flexible construction is designed to bend with the radiator in the event of a crash, so the screens won’t add any extra damage.

ABOUT US

Dirty Bits Moto Accessories is a Melbourne based company with a strong focus on creating new and innovative products for your dirt bike. Primarily targeting motocross, we’re building a range of parts and accessories that fills a gap in the market where few quality products are available. Until now, most bike protective products have been overly bulky and unnecessarily heavy, designed for the enduro market, not for motocross. Dirty Bits Moto Accessories aims to change this. Our products boast a combination of quality, style and purpose, all with a focus on keeping weight down without compromising functionality. All our products are Australian made, professionally engineered, and tested in real Australian motocross.

Sturgess Jaguar is the Franchised Main Dealer of the Year 2013

Thu, 11 Apr 2013

The dealer experience can make or break your relationship with a car brand, so having a strong, high profile group of main dealers that offers not just a showroom full of cars, but staff who are knowledgeable, helpful and prepared to go the extra mile, makes the difference. So Jaguar will be suitably chuffed that not only did March see them deliver their best sales results ever but that one of their main dealers – Sturgess Jaguar in Leicester – has been named Franchised Main dealer of the year in the Motor Codes Garage of the Year Awards run by Motor Codes, a government-backed operator of codes of practice for the motor industry. Motor Codes had 11,500 garage users rate their experience of of customer service in garages across the UK, and Sturgess came out on top in the Main dealer Franchise gong thanks to its “transparent, customer-focused approach and its all-round efforts to accommodate all types of customer requirements”.

Eagle E-Type Speedster: Stunning new photos

Sun, 10 Jun 2012

The Eagle Speedster – an E-Type Jaguar for the 21st century – in a new set of stunning photos in the South of France. We fell in love with the Speedster when Eagle created one for American doctor Rick Velaj and showed it at Salon Prive in 2009, and deeper still when Eagle revealed the Lightweight Speedster at last year’s Salon Prive, together with a set of photos of the Speedster that still adorn many a desktop at Cars UK Towers. But now we have new photos of the Eagle Speedster to update our desktops, laptops and smartphones thanks to Eagle’s jaunt to the South of France last summer with the Speedster.

New VW Beetle gets new engines

Thu, 26 Jul 2012

Volkswagen has finally made the new VW Beetle available with the 2.0 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre turbodiesel engines. When we reported the other day that the new VW Beetle Convertible was arriving at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November we did say that VW were about to announce the arrival, finally, of the 2.0 litre TSI petrol and 2.0 litre TDI diesel for the Beetle to make it a bit more appealing. It seems VW must have been listening as they’ve now announced that you can grab a new Beetle with either the more powerful petrol or the diesel engine, which should help sales of the new Beetle.
