Smart Forspeed Concept reveled

Sun, 20 Feb 2011

Smart Forspeed Concept - and the electric bike and scooter that will make production You’ve got to wonder if Smart is just a game for Mercedes. A bit like Maybach, except they keep churning out endless cars and concepts and editions and sales seem to go nowhere, instead of the Maybach way of keeping the same cars for a decade – and sales go nowhere. Wed, 17 Jun 2009

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 17 June 2009 00:01 This is the first picture of Audi’s new A5 Sportback, essentially an (oxymoronic) four-door version of its A5 Coupe. Bingo – that’s exactly Ingolstadt’s catchphrase for the new car.

The most expensive cars ever: Ferrari 250 GTO sells for $38 million

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

By Tim Pollard Motoring Issues 15 August 2014 10:19 A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta sold overnight for a record $38,115,000 (£22,528,626) at the prestigious Bonhams Quail Lodge Auction held during Monterey Car Week. At a stroke, the Ferrari has become the most valuable car in the world, overtaking the 1954 Mercedes W196 R F1 Racer which sold for $30m at an auction at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Tellingly, seven of the top 10 most expensive cars ever sold at auction were Ferraris (see our list below).
