Ferrari boss Montezemolo says his future is fast cars--and fast trains

Chairman Luca Cordero di Montezemolo has pledged his future to the supercar brand, refuting speculation that he might quit to join Italy's government. “In my future I see fast cars and fast trains--and no politics,” Montezemolo told Automotive News Europe in an interview at Ferrari's headquarters here.
Rennsport Reunion IV closes with Porsche 917s tearing around the track

And while there were a variety of all things Porsche to see and hear through the three days, Sunday saw some of Porsche's most powerful race cars take to the track. With the Tesla Roadster at the end of its life, and then Model S Saloon about to hit the road (probably), Tesla are moving on to the next instalment of their electric car pilgrimage - the Tesla Model X. We had expected the Model X – which is based on the same underpinnings as the Model S Saloon – to debut by the end of 2011.
