Mercedes is readying a new coupé version of the C-class for launch in 2011. Aimed squarely at the Audi A5 and BMW 3-series Coupé set, the new 2011 C-class coupé will revive the CLK range which many had written off after the arrival of the new E-class Coupé.In line with the new CL being rebranded S-class Coupé, the new two-door C will be badged C-class Coupé. It's due for launch in March 2011.So it'll be a mini E-class Coupé?

Ford has been the automotive darling of the Consumer Electronics Show for several years now. On Friday morning, Ford CEO Alan Mulally made a historic third keynote speech, during which he introduced the new Focus Electric and a host of new supporting technologies, which appear to keep Ford near the top of the technological pack. BMW's M division is back in the business of building specialty street-legal race cars with a new lightweight version of the M3 called the GTS. The lightweight coupe, set to go on sale in early 2010 at a yet-undisclosed price, was conceived as a limited-edition model primarily for club-based racing in much the same way that Porsche builds the 911 GT3 Clubsport. But in a clear effort to link its track-based activities with the production-car side of its business, BMW's M division is offering the new car with a homologation package that will allow customers to register the M3 GTS for street use.
