The Lift Pump
For sale is one brand new OEM lift pump manufactured by Carter here in the USA for the 2003 - 2004 Dodge Cummins Diesel trucks. Pump has a one-year no questions asked warranty. Complete pump kit new in box includes a full detailed installation instruction sheet (photo below), a new supply pump, special pre-filter, two custom shaped fuel hoses, quick fuel connector, sealing O'Ring, dielectric sealant/lubricant, and four hose clamps. This Carter pump is the original unit that came on your vehicle when new. It is the OEM pump and corresponds to Cummins part number 4089602. Dodge no longer sells this pump. If you go to a Dodge dealer they will want you to install an in the tank unit at a much higher cost. Save money and labor by replacing the original unit with this OEM part. Installation is pretty straight forward. If you change your own oil and fuel filters then this project is certainly within your ability.
It is recommended that you replace your transfer/lift pump if you are getting a code P0628. If you already have the dealer installed in tank pump conversion then do not purchase this pump. This is the OEM pump that installs at the back of the fuel filter housing. Installation is actually quite simple and accomplished with your basic tools. Instructions are in English, Spanish and French.

Audi digs at Mercedes with the help of a pair of Spocks (video)
Wed, 08 May 2013Audi likes nothing more than a bit of ‘celebrity’ kudos, which is why you’ll find endless celebs (and royalty) running round in Audis thanks to ‘enhanced’ lease deals and freebie cars. But it’s not just individual celebs that Audi loves, they also love a blockbuster film or two, which is why you’ll also see Tony Stark running around in a car with four rings in Iron Man 3 and, although there aren’t many Audis in space (or on the Enterprise), you’ll find Audi pitching in for a bit of PR on the back of the new Star Trek film – Star Trek Into Darkness. Audi has enlisted the services of Mr Spock in the guise of the original (Leonard Nimoy) and the new (Zachary Quinto) to highlight the benefits of driving an Audi, and getting a dig in at Mercedes in the process.
