This is a bare Dodge Dana 44 axle housing with inner axle shaft that came out of an early 80's Dodge 3/4 ton truck.

This housing is in good-used condition and is the same width as the later disconnect style axles from 1985 to 1993.  With the inner axle shaft that is included, you can use this kit to change your disconnect over to a solid front axle.  All of the parts off of your disconnect axle can be used on this housing, all but the inner axle shafts on the disconnect side.  If you don't have locking hubs I can help you with new or good used ones, just let me know and I will be glad to help you.

I have a few of these housings available and listed on eBay.  The picture on this listing is representative of all I have available, and is included for axle identification purposes.

Councils to cut roadworks red tape

Tue, 19 Aug 2014

COUNCILS in England could soon have the power to cut red tape and make road works much quicker and more accountable. The plan is to introduce permits for any company that wants to dig up a road, which means they will have to co-ordinate their work with other companies and local authorities to reduce the impact of delays on the public. The permit scheme could come into force as early as April 2015 and means anyone applying for a permit to carry out road works will need to present a convincing case for the work.

Has Chris Evans bought a McLaren F1?

Tue, 18 Sep 2012

The rumour on the grapevine this morning is that Radio 2 man and Ferrari nut, Chris Evans, has traded a Ferrari to buy a McLaren F1 Chris Evans is known for many things; Radio 2 presenter, doting dad, one-time enfant terrible of TV, creator of CarFest and, perhaps most of all, the most high-profile collector of classic Ferraris in the UK. But the word on the grapevine this morning is that Chris has chopped in a Ferrari – and we don’t know which of his Ferraris – to buy one of the 64 McLaren F1 supercars in existence. If he has, and we’re digging for confirmation, then he’s obviously been listening to the advice a number of experts at the top end of the classic car world who believe the ‘next’ Ferrari 250 GTO (a car Chris owns) will be the McLaren F1.

Porsche Cayenne hits 250,000 sales

Fri, 06 Mar 2009

“Absolute sacrilege”, they cried, when Porsche announced it was to make an SUV. “Too ugly to drive”, said Clarkson, despite his obvious incredulity at its abilities. Yet despite its inauspicious start in life, the Porsche Cayenne has gone on to be a huge success for Porsche, and the 250,000th Porsche Cayenne has just rolled off the production line at Porsche’s Leipzig plant..
