One exhaust tip or tailpipe extender from a 1968 Dodge Dart GTS. This tip is in good condition considering it is part of the exhaust system and was on the car for a few years. This was part of a set of 2, but the other one was lost. I have only the one piece. It is very solid and weighs just under 4 pounds. The shape of the inlet and the outlet look good. There is some surface rust that can be seen in the pictures. Some of the dark spots on the tip is tar. I do not have any tar remover. I used chrome cleaner to remove some of the tar, but something a little stronger will be needed to remove the tar. I have owned this piece since the middle 1970's. I purchased the car used, and the car was sold in the late 1970's.

But less flashy--and perhaps nearly as important--are more subtle improvements throughout its product portfolio, including nicer interiors and a fine-tuned version of Sync that could help the Blue Oval win customers and improve its image in the marketplace. The idea is to fortify its lineup with refinements "experienced immediately in a five-minute test drive," said Derrick Kuzak, Ford's group vice president of global product development.
