Car collector, lawyer O'Quinn dies in car crash

Noted Texas attorney John O'Quinn, a car collector who at one time owned more than 600 vehicles, died after the SUV he was driving in Houston ran off the road and crashed into a tree. O'Quinn was 68. Police are continuing to investigate the crash, which happened Thursday morning on wet roads.

The Bentley Continental Supersports hits the floor at Geneva It’s only a couple of weeks since we got confirmation that Bentley was producing the Continental Supersports Convertible, and that the debut would be at Geneva. So there’s not really an awful lot more to tell, but we do love the idea of such a monstrously powerful convertible as the Supersports so much that we wanted an excuse to run another story. The fact that we just got a VT of the Bentley Continental Supersports Convertible drop in and the pictures from the floor at the Geneva Motor Show is reason enough.

Ford Mondeo Vignale revealed – it’s back to the days of Ford Ghia

The Ford Mondeo Vignale (picture) has been revealed as Ford’s new range-topper Mainstream car makers have always tried to add some glitz and gloss to their models by tagging on a badge they thought made their cars more exclusive. Like Ford with endless ‘Ghia’ models sitting at the top of the Ford range after they bought Ghia of Turin in 1970. Ford continued to use the Ghia badge to mark out its best-equipped models until very recently (you could still buy a Fiesta Ghia as recently as 2008) but they finally dropped the badge and moved their top of the tree badge over to the ‘Titanium’ moniker.
